When we arrived back in Buxton after visiting Macclesfield, I discovered I had a text. I read the following and practically jumped and down with glee:

What a hoot! Margot Tess M----, 6lb 9, accidentally born at home after a brief-ish labour. All utterly hilarious. She is a beauty. X
Part of me was dying to know whether she'd actually been born that morning, or, fingers crossed, the day before - 29th February...
This evening I finally managed a visit to go say hi. I *always* forget just quite how tiny and fragile new born babies are. Mewww.

"Yeah, my favourite bands are Dashboard Confessional, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold... When I grow up I want to be Pete Wentz..."
I know, I know, I should act the grown up, but it's still funny to give him emo hair (when it's normally like this)

Merry Christmas, mofos
Sorry, I had to. Kid looks so darn cute.
This is my favourite boy, my godson Tayo, all dressed up for Christmas:
Hope y'all had a good one, whatever you've been celebrating. I promise to resume normal, non-nauseatingly-cute picture posts soon.

I'm turning into the most boring person ever
I really miss my NY life, but look at this face and tell me you'd be able to walk away from him. For the record, in addition to his baby adidas sweater, he was also wearing tiny baby jeans and tiny baby Timberlands. Baby G.

oh baby
So I bunked off work early as there was NOTHING to do and no one else in the office, for trips to Primark and High St Ken. Only my sister was still in bed as I was getting into Hammersmith [FYI - it was about 3:15pm] so instead I met up with M & Tayo [godson. cutest baby ever.] for Starbucks. When my sister eventually turned up, we walked M & T back to Shepherds Bush then headed up to the cinema to go see Talladega Nights. So good. So funny. So nice going to a 6:30pm showing and having only four other people in the audience.
"Dear 8 pounds 6 ounces baby Jesus, new born, not even spoken a word yet."
I never thought I'd say this, but I love Will Ferrell.
Shake 'n bake, homes.
